Terms of sale

1. Who we are
1.1 SiteSight is a trading name of Grigorios Papanastasiou, a sole trader established in Malta, at Sqaq Zbibu, Kappara Heights, San Gwann, Malta. VAT registration number: MT32865311. Email: support@sitesight.dev.
1.2 "We", "us" and "our" mean SiteSight. "You" means the person or business ordering from us. You are a "consumer" if you are an individual acting mainly outside your trade, business or profession; otherwise you are a "business customer". Some clauses apply differently to each.
1.3 By placing an order you enter into a contract with Grigorios Papanastasiou, trading as SiteSight, on these terms. How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy.
2. Our services
2.1 Free score. A short review of your website: a score out of 100, one key issue and two secondary issues explained, and a list of other issues we found. It is free and creates no obligation to buy.
2.2 Full audit. A written report that compares your website with 2–3 leading websites in your category and covers every issue we found across 13 areas, ranked by priority, with copy rewrites for your main headline, subheading and button, a 13-area scorecard and quick wins.
2.3 Fix package. We make up to five of the top fixes from your full audit, using up to about three hours of work, within seven days of receiving the access we need. It is only available after a full audit. Anything larger is quoted separately before we start.
2.4 We review only the public pages of your website. We do not log in to it, submit its forms, or test its security, except that for the fix package we use the access you give us under clause 6.
3. Prices and payment
3.1 Prices are shown on sitesight.dev in euro and include VAT.
3.2 You pay in full when you order, by card through our payment provider, Stripe. Work starts once payment is confirmed.
3.3 We send a VAT invoice by email after payment.
4. Delivery
4.1 We aim to send your free Website X-Ray within 24 hours of your request.
4.2 We send your full audit by email within 24 hours of payment. If we can't, we tell you, and you can cancel for a full refund.
4.3 We complete the fix package within seven days of receiving working access and your written confirmation that a backup exists (clause 6.2).
4.4 If your website is unavailable or blocks our review, we tell you. If we still cannot complete the work within 14 days of your order, we refund you in full.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- give us the correct website address and information we reasonably ask for;
- have the right to let us review the website and, for the fix package, to make changes to it;
- tell us about anything on the website we should not change, such as booking systems, payment pages or custom code;
- check our recommendations against your own business, legal and regulatory situation before acting on them.
6. Work on your website (fix package)
6.1 Access. You create a separate collaborator or editor account for us, with only the permissions the agreed fixes need. We never ask for, store or use your own password or payment details. You remove our access when we tell you the work is finished.
6.2 Backup first. Before we change anything, you must make a full, current backup of your website, or confirm that your platform keeps one you can restore, and confirm this to us in writing (an email is enough). We will not start without that confirmation. Keeping and restoring backups is your responsibility.
6.3 Agreed changes only. Before we start, we send you a list of the exact changes we will make. We make only those changes, unless you agree others in writing.
6.4 Handover. When we finish, we check each changed page on your website and send you a list of every change we made.
6.5 If our work causes a fault. If a change we made stops your website working as it did before, tell us within 14 days of handover. We will correct or reverse that change free of charge, as quickly as we reasonably can.
6.6 What we are not responsible for. We are not responsible for faults, downtime or lost data caused by:
- changes made by you or anyone else, during or after our work, without telling us;
- updates to your website platform, theme, plugins or apps, or changes by your hosting provider, domain provider or any other third-party service;
- problems that existed before we started, or content you supplied;
- you not having a working backup, or not removing our access when asked.
7. What our audits are, and are not
7.1 Our reports are recommendations based on a review of your website at the date we reviewed it, judged against published principles and standards that we name in the report. Websites change, so findings may become out of date.
7.2 We do not promise any particular result, such as more enquiries, more sales or a higher search ranking. Results depend on many things outside our control.
7.3 Where a report mentions laws, regulations or legal pages, it points out things worth checking. It is not legal advice. Please confirm legal matters with a qualified adviser.
7.4 Deciding which recommendations to act on, and acting on them, is your decision, except for the changes we make under the fix package.
8. Cancellation and refunds
8.1 Consumers: your right to cancel. If you are a consumer, you may cancel your order within 14 days of placing it, without giving a reason. To cancel, email support@sitesight.dev or send the form at the end of these terms.
8.2 If we have already started. Our services start straight away. When you order, we ask you to confirm that you want us to start within the 14-day cancellation period, and that you will lose your right to cancel once the service is fully delivered. If you cancel after we have started but before we have finished, we refund the price minus a fair amount for the work already done. Once the full audit has been sent, or the fix package completed, you can no longer cancel.
8.3 Business customers. Business customers may cancel for a full refund before we start work. After work starts, payments are non-refundable, except as set out in clauses 4.2, 4.4, 8.4 and 9.
8.4 Money-back guarantee. If the full audit doesn't help your business, tell us within 14 days of receiving it and we refund the full price. You don't need to give a reason. The guarantee covers the full audit, not the fix package.
8.5 We refund to the card you paid with, within 14 days of agreeing the refund.
9. Our liability
9.1 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for gross negligence, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit or exclude. Nothing in these terms affects a consumer's legal rights.
9.2 Consumers. We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable. Our services are for business use, so we are not responsible for lost profits, lost business or business interruption.
9.3 Business customers. Subject to clause 9.1:
- our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for that order;
- we are not liable for loss of profits, sales, business, revenue, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss;
- where clause 6.5 applies, correcting or reversing the change is your main remedy for a fault caused by our work.
10. Ownership and use of reports
10.1 Once you have paid, you may use your report and our copy rewrites freely for your own business, including sharing them with your staff, web designer or agency.
10.2 Our methods, scoring system, templates and principles library remain ours.
10.3 We will not name you or publish your report as a case study or testimonial without your written permission.
11. Confidentiality and personal data
11.1 We keep anything you tell us about your business, and any access you give us, confidential. We use it only to deliver your order.
11.2 We handle personal data as described in our privacy policy.
12. Complaints and the law that applies
12.1 If something is wrong, email support@sitesight.dev. We aim to reply within five working days.
12.2 These terms are governed by Maltese law, and the courts of Malta deal with any dispute. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim there.
12.3 If you are a consumer in Malta and we cannot resolve your complaint, you can contact the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority (MCCAA).
13. Changes to these terms
13.1 We may update these terms. The version on our website when you place your order applies to that order.
